In a recent study conducted by Careerminds, 3,023 workers were polled to determine the most coveted employers based on perks and benefits. Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Inc, King Arthur Baking Company, and Burton Snowboards were named as the top three in Vermont.
Ben & Jerry’s ranked third nationally, behind Google and Coca-Cola, showcasing the importance of workplace perks and benefits in retaining employees. The study highlighted companies like Google, Coca-Cola, Ben & Jerry’s, Hawaiian Airlines, and Nike as some of the top employers in the country based on the perks they offer to employees.
In Vermont, King Arthur Baking Company and Burton Snowboards stood out for their unique benefits. King Arthur Baking Company, a 100% ESOP, offers stock after one year, profit sharing, and free baking supplies, while Burton Snowboards in Burlington provides free season ski passes, lessons, and a “snow day policy” for employees to enjoy on powder days.
