The loss brings Bryant’s record to 4-4 overall and 1-1 in America East play. Vermont went on two separate 5-0 scoring runs during the game, holding Bryant scoreless for a significant portion of the match.
Amend finished with a career-high six points, marking his second consecutive game with a hat trick. Russell added four points, Dawson Rielly and Max Dantona each contributed two goals for Bryant. The Catamounts outshot the Bulldogs and dominated at the face-off X.
Despite the loss, Bryant showed resilience and fighting spirit throughout the game. This marks the second consecutive season that the Bulldogs have started conference play with a 1-1 record. Vermont extended its winning streak against Bryant to four games.
