A Vermont man, Jason Seiple, 38, of Poultney, is facing charges of aggravated domestic assault and sexual assault for incidents that occurred in January and March. Vermont troopers say Seiple allegedly assaulted a victim in the presence of a child. Further investigation revealed an additional victim who was allegedly assaulted multiple times between 2018 and 2021. Seiple is the owner of Seiple’s Shoot Shop, a gun shop in Poultney. He is currently being held without bail on previous charges and will appear in court on Monday afternoon to answer to the new charges. The Vermont State Police are conducting the investigation, and anyone with additional information related to the case is encouraged to come forward.
