Mobile sports betting revenue in Vermont, US, experienced a 5.4% decrease year-on-year in February, according to the Vermont Lottery. The revenue for the month was reported at $2.18 million, lower than the $2.3 million recorded in February 2024. The sports betting handle in Vermont for February was $21.5 million, showing a 1.3% increase from the previous year but a 9.8% decrease from January. The Vermont tax share for February was $693,284, marking a 5.3% decrease year-on-year and a 14% decrease from the previous month.
Among the sports that attracted the most wagers in Vermont in February, basketball led the way with $7.64 million of the total handle for the month. Bettors registered in the state accounted for $13.1 million of the total handle, while those coming into Vermont contributed $8.4 million.
