Taylor Nealy discovered his passion for learning through Texas State Technical College’s (TSTC) Automation and Controls Technology program in Marshall, Texas. After graduating in 2024, Nealy began working as an electronics technician at Norris Cylinder, a manufacturer of high-pressure steel and acetylene cylinders. He continues to expand his skills by taking classes offered by his employer, aiming to enhance his resume with certifications. According to colleague Jose Rocha, Nealy’s drive to constantly learn and improve has helped him excel in his career.
Nealy emphasizes the importance of technical colleges like TSTC in preparing individuals for successful futures. He believes these institutions are vital to keeping the country running smoothly. The Automation and Controls Technology program at TSTC’s Marshall campus offers an Associate of Applied Science degree and is integral to shaping the workforce in Texas.
