The Vermont Natural Resources Council (VNRC), Preservation Trust of Vermont, and AARP Vermont recently hosted the Smarter Growth Summit in Montpelier. The event brought together leaders from various sectors to discuss the impact of smart growth principles on Vermont’s land use. Despite progress in revitalizing community centers, attendees recognized the pressing challenges of housing, climate change, and balancing urban and rural development.
