New Indictment Accuses Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of ‘Forced Labor’

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new indictment accusing him of forcing employees to work long hours and threatening them to assist in his sex trafficking scheme. He still faces trial in May on federal charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, to which he has pleaded not guilty. Combs’ lawyer denies all accusations and looks forward to proving his innocence in court. The new indictment describes the “forced labor” Combs demanded in connection with the racketeering conspiracy, where employees were pressured to work long hours under threats of physical, financial, psychological harm, or reputational harm. One employee was said to have engaged in sex acts with Combs due to this pressure. Prosecutors are expected to provide more details to Combs’ lawyers by March 10 and are requesting his arraignment be on March 14. His lawyer states that many former employees support Combs and are prepared to testify to his dedication and hard work. The sex trafficking scheme allegedly ran from 2004 to 2024, and many lawsuits by victims were filed under a NYC law allowing victims to sue even if statutes of limitations had expired, with the deadline expiring in February. Combs is currently in a Brooklyn jail awaiting trial.
