On VT Route 100, a passerby reported the fire at 11:30 a.m., prompting firefighters to extinguish the flames and discover the deceased individual in the driver’s seat. While the death is currently not considered suspicious, the body will be taken to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington for an autopsy as investigators determine the cause of the fire.
