Denver’s Sam Bassett scored in the 69th minute, but Vermont’s Yaniv Bazini equalized in the 84th minute. The game went into a penalty shootout, where Vermont emerged victorious. Vermont goalkeeper Niklas Herceg made a crucial save, and Murray scored the winning goal to send Vermont to their first-ever men’s College Cup final. The championship game will be held on Monday at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN2/ESPN+.
