Kyle Dezotell, Head Coach of Men’s Soccer, Honored with Induction into Vermont Sports Hall of Fame


Kyle Dezotell, the head coach of Tufts University men’s soccer team, has been named as a member of the 12th class of the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame. Dezotell, a native of Vermont, was a standout soccer player and Nordic skier. He was named an All-American and the Vermont Gatorade Player of the Year in high school and continued his success at Middlebury College, where he set several program records.

Dezotell began his coaching career in 2004 and has since seen success at various schools before taking the head coaching position at Tufts in 2020. Under his leadership, the Jumbos have achieved a 49-9-20 record, won a NESCAC title, and made four consecutive NCAA Division III Championship Tournament appearances. Dezotell’s overall coaching record stands at 234-115-53.

In addition to his soccer accomplishments, Dezotell was also a top Nordic skier in Vermont, winning numerous championships and competing at Middlebury College. His induction into the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame is a well-deserved recognition of his contributions to the sports community in the state.
