Beyoncé announced a new tour named “Cowboy Carter Tour 2025” on social media with a video and updated graphics on her website. The tour comes after she postponed a previous announcement to donate $2.5 million to support families affected by the California wildfires. Beyoncé first performed songs from her album “Cowboy Carter” during the halftime show of a football game on Christmas Day, which was streamed on Netflix. The performance became available as a standalone special on the platform. Netflix recently teased the tour in a social media post, to which Beyoncé’s label responded with “Saddle up, see y’all on the road.” The announcement of the tour coincides with the Grammy Awards, where “Cowboy Carter” earned 11 nominations, including album of the year. The album’s lead single, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” has achieved double platinum status and is nominated for record and song of the year. “Cowboy Carter” topped the Billboard Hot 200 album chart and the Top Country Albums chart, making Beyoncé the first Black woman to lead the country album list. This marks Beyoncé’s eighth consecutive studio album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart.
