The Vermont Sports Hall of Fame recently announced its 2025 induction class, which includes three former legends from Norwich. Among them is Frank Pecora, the retired Head Coach of Norwich Baseball, who had an illustrious career with a .750 winning percentage and 15 state titles. Kyle Dezotell, former Men’s Soccer coach at Norwich, also made the list after accumulating 131 wins in 10 seasons and winning three GNAC Coach of the Year awards. Lastly, Lou DiMasi III, a former National Champion in hockey, was recognized for his achievements on the ice as well as his coaching career at Saint Michael’s College.
These three individuals will be officially inducted on April 25 at the Delta Marriott Hotel in South Burlington. They will join other Norwich legends in the Hall of Fame, such as George Commo and Ed Hockenbury Sr. The ceremony will honor their contributions to Norwich athletics and their lasting impact on the sports community in Vermont.
