A 22-year-old man from Seattle, Maximilian Snyder, has been arrested and charged with murder in Northern California in connection with the stabbing death of an 82-year-old landlord, Curtis Lind. It was revealed that Snyder had applied for a marriage license with Teresa Youngblut, who was arrested a week earlier for her involvement in the fatal shooting of a U.S. border patrol agent in Vermont.
Youngblut and Snyder attended Lakeside School in Seattle and had connections to a fringe “vegan Sith” ideology that had ties to violence. Youngblut had also been in contact with a person of interest in a homicide investigation in Vallejo, California, and had been under surveillance by investigators prior to her arrest in Vermont after a shootout with border agents.
The border agent who was killed during the shootout, David Maland, was a military veteran who worked security duty at the Pentagon during the Sept. 11 attacks. The investigation into the incidents involving Youngblut and Snyder remains active.
The couple had recently moved in together in Kirkland, and their marriage status is still unclear. Authorities found firearms, tactical gear, electronic devices, and other suspicious items in their possession during the investigation. The legal process is ongoing, and more updates are expected in this developing story.
