The Vermont Athletic Department is set to host a Watch Party at Nectar’s Restaurant in downtown Burlington for the Men’s Soccer NCAA College Cup on Friday, December 13. This will be the Catamounts’ first-ever College Cup appearance, with the team having the most NCAA Tournament wins in the country over the last three years. The matchup between No. 3 Denver and Vermont will begin at 5 p.m. on ESPN+/ESPNU.
Free food will be provided at the event, including quesadillas, fries, gravy fries, flatbreads, and chicken tenders. Attendees will also have the chance to show their Catamount pride with green and gold beads, tattoos, and stickers. Raffle prizes will be available, such as a team-signed jersey, a $50 Windjammer gift card, and two Smugglers’ Notch day passes.
Tickets for the match are still available online and a pregame tailgate will be hosted by the UVM Alumni Association and UVM Athletics at 3 p.m. Fans can purchase official 2024 Vermont College Cup t-shirts from the UVM Bookstore.
