The U.P. Children’s Museum in Marquette, Michigan, recently hosted its 21st annual Celebrity Art Auction, featuring handmade art pieces by twenty-one local celebrities. The event included a silent auction where guests could bid on paintings, sculptures, and experiences, all while enjoying appetizers and drinks. Executive Director Jessica Hanley expressed gratitude for the community’s support, noting that the museum provides a safe space for children to learn and play regardless of age or ability. The funds raised from the auction will be used to support the museum’s daily operations and special programs. With almost 30 years of operation, the Children’s Museum continues to be a beloved asset to the community. The event was a success, thanks to the generosity of attendees who came out to support the museum.
