[ad_1]
President-elect Donald Trump announced his nominations for ambassadors to Greece and Turkey, selecting former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle for Greece and his longtime billionaire friend Tom Barrack for Turkey. Barrack, the founder of Colony Capital and chair of Trump’s inaugural committee, was acquitted of charges related to acting as an unregistered foreign agent for the United Arab Emirates. Guilfoyle, who is engaged to Trump’s son, was praised for her suitability in fostering strong relations with Greece.

Both nominations require Senate confirmation, with Guilfoyle expressing her eagerness to secure the support. Trump also named Ronald Johnson as ambassador to Mexico, highlighting his work to promote America First policies. Johnson previously served as ambassador to El Salvador and worked for the CIA and the Army.

Additionally, Trump announced Charles Kushner, father of Jared Kushner, as the nominee for ambassador to France, and Massad Boulous as a senior adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs. The appointments reflect Trump’s close ties with his family and associates, as well as his commitment to advancing his administration’s priorities in foreign relations.
