Managed by Meg Little Riley, the program provides students with valuable experience in journalism while contributing to local news outlets. Student journalists Gwen Mathews and Ace Sheehan share their recent election-related coverage, highlighting the importance of their work in informing the public.
Over at Vermont State University, political science professor Rich Clark is actively involved in get-out-the-vote efforts in Castleton, volunteering at the polls and encouraging student participation in elections. Ruben Somda, a senior and president of the school’s Content Lab, discusses their strategies to engage college students in voting through effective marketing and messaging.
