NYPD releases 2 additional photos of suspect in murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO

The New York Police Department released new photos of a person sought in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The individual is seen wearing a blue medical mask and black hoodie in one photo, and the same mask with a puffer jacket in the other. Investigators are tracking his movements by taxi but have yet to identify him. Thompson was shot outside a hotel and it appears to have been a targeted attack. Shell casings found at the scene had cryptic words written on them. A backpack believed to belong to the person of interest was found in Central Park with a cellphone inside. The man may have left the state and video shows him taking a taxi to a bus station. He may have traveled from Atlanta to New York last month. Thompson’s wife mentioned he had been receiving threats, but the nature of these threats is unclear. A reward of $60,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the gunman. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to track down the person of interest and determine the motive behind the killing.
