This weekend, Mikaela Shiffrin aims to make history at the Killington Cup in Vermont, as she is one win away from reaching 100 World Cup victories. Shiffrin, already the all-time leader in World Cup wins, is set to compete in front of a large and enthusiastic home crowd, hoping for a strong performance. The annual event has drawn as many as 40,000 spectators and is known for its special atmosphere.

The US Ski Team, including skiers like Paula Moltzan, Katie Hensien, and Nina O’Brien, has had a strong start to the season, with multiple top-10 finishes. The event, taking place on Thanksgiving Weekend, will feature a giant slalom on Saturday and a slalom on Sunday, broadcast on NBC and Peacock.

Shiffrin has had incredible success at Killington, with six slalom wins in previous editions. The excitement around seeing an all-time great like Shiffrin compete in person has been a major draw for fans.
