The Vermont Athletic Department will be hosting a Watch Party at Nectar’s Restaurant in downtown Burlington for the Men’s Soccer NCAA Quarterfinal on Saturday, December 7th. The Catamounts will be facing off against No. 2 Pittsburgh, with the game starting at 3 p.m. on ESPN+. This is Vermont’s second quarterfinal appearance in the last three years, and they are tied for the most NCAA Tournament wins in the country over the same period.
Fans attending the Watch Party can enjoy free food, including quesadillas, fries, gravy fries, flatbreads, and chicken tenders. Green and Gold beads, tattoos, and stickers will also be available to show support for the team. Raffle prizes will be given out, including a $50 Nectar’s Gift Card and tickets to the Vermont/LIU Men’s Hockey game.
For those not in the Burlington area, the game will be streamed live on ESPN+. Tickets are available for Saturday’s match, and a pregame tailgate will be hosted by the UVM Alumni Association and UVM Athletics. The event is sponsored by EastRise Credit Union.
