Week 6 of the 2024 Vermont high school football season has arrived, with High School on SI releasing computer rankings for the state for the second week. The Division 1 rankings see the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks retain the top spot, followed closely by Essex after their victory over previously undefeated Rutland.
The rankings were determined using Live’s linear algebra-based ranking algorithm inspired by the Colley Bias-Free Ranking Method, created by astrophysicist Wes Colley. This method aims to eliminate subjectivity and controversy in rankings by using objective variables.
As of October 14th, 2024, here are the latest Vermont high school football computer rankings:
Division 1 | Division 2 | Division 3
