Tragic Car Crash Claims Life in Enosburgh, Vermont
ENOSBURGH, Vt. (WCAX) – A serious car accident in Enosburgh has resulted in the death of an 86-year-old driver from Middlebury. The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. on Monday, in the vicinity of Stonehouse Road, amid snowy and icy road conditions.
According to the Vermont State Police, the driver lost control of their vehicle and collided with a telephone pole. Immediate responses from the troopers involved confirmed the dangerous weather conditions at the time of the accident. Following the collision, emergency services transported the driver to Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans before transferring them to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. Tragically, the driver succumbed to their injuries shortly after arrival.
