Bulldogs Clinch 4-0 Victory Over Catamounts with Impressive Shutout
DULUTH, MN – The University of Minnesota-Duluth women’s hockey team delivered a stellar performance at AMSOIL Arena on Friday, November 28, 2024, earning a decisive 4-0 shutout against the Vermont Catamounts.
The Bulldogs took charge early in the first period, with Danielle Burgen netting the opening goal at the 10:23 mark, thanks to assists from Caitlin Kraemer and Mary Kate O’Brien. The home team doubled their lead shortly thereafter, as Clara Van Wieren scored with the help of Olivia Wallin and Nina Jobst-Smith, bringing the score to 2-0 by the end of the first period.
