Beloved former state senator and respected political science professor Bill Doyle passed away last week at the age of ninety-eight at Mayo Healthcare in Northfield, Vermont. Doyle, who served as a Republican senator for Washington County for nearly five decades, was known for his annual Town Meeting Day Survey and his dedication to community service.
