Bulldogs Dominate Catamounts with 4-0 Shutout

DULUTH, MN – The Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs showcased an impressive performance on Friday, November 28, 2024, securing a decisive 4-0 victory over the Vermont Catamounts at AMSOIL Arena. The win demonstrated the Bulldogs’ strong coordination and defensive strength, resulting in a shutout against their opponents.

The scoring began midway through the first period when Danielle Burgen netted the first goal, with assists from teammates Caitlin Kraemer and Mary Kate O’Brien. Shortly thereafter, the Bulldogs doubled their lead when Clara Van Wieren found the net thanks to assists from Olivia Wallin and Nina Jobst-Smith.

The offense continued to flourish in the second period as Ida Karlsson scored early, assisted by Mary Kate O’Brien and Hanna Baskin, bringing the score to 3-0. In the closing minutes, Olivia Mobley capped off the scoring with a fourth goal, assisted by Hanna Baskin and Olivia Wallin, solidifying the Bulldogs’ dominant performance.

The Bulldogs’ strong defensive effort, paired with their offensive strategies, truly shone throughout the match, leaving the Catamounts struggling to mount a comeback.
