Vermont Law School to Host Community Thanksgiving Dinner
South Royalton, VT – Vermont Law School (VLS) is set to open its doors to the community for a heartfelt Thanksgiving dinner on November 23, 2023. The event aims to bring together students, faculty, staff, and local residents in the spirit of gratitude and togetherness. This annual tradition has become a cherished opportunity for community bonding during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Organized by VLS and its dedicated volunteers, this year’s dinner will feature a variety of traditional Thanksgiving dishes, including turkey, stuffing, and an array of pies. The event is free and open to all, emphasizing inclusivity and the importance of community during this festive season. Attendees are encouraged to share in the joy of giving and gratitude, reflecting the core values of the law school.
The dinner will take place in the school’s dining hall from 5 PM to 7 PM, allowing attendees to enjoy a warm meal and engage with one another. VLS Dean and President, Thomas McHenry, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, "It’s a wonderful way for us to connect with our neighbors and celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving."
