Jurors in New Mexico awarded a man over $412 million in a medical malpractice case involving a men’s health clinic. The lawsuit alleged fraud and dangerous penile injections were administered unnecessarily, causing irreversible damage. The plaintiff’s attorneys called it a record-setting case and emphasized the breach of trust by licensed professionals. The trial revealed that the clinic, NuMale Medical Center, operated a fraudulent scheme targeting older men for financial gain. The clinic workers allegedly used scare tactics to pressure patients into unnecessary injections three times a week. NuMale Medical Center President Brad Palubicki stated that the company is focused on delivering responsible patient care and maintaining strict safety standards. The verdict found the defendants guilty of fraudulent and negligent conduct that resulted in damages to the plaintiff, as well as violations of the Unfair Practices Act.
