High School Football America has been providing fans with real-time updates on the 2024 Vermont high school football playoff games. The latest scores from all three divisions have been released, with Champlain Valley Union and Rutland set to face off in the Division I championship game on Saturday, November 9.
In the Division I semifinals, Champlain Valley Union defeated Middlebury 21-7, while Rutland secured a 21-14 victory over Hartford. In the quarterfinals, Champlain Valley Union dominated Mount Anthony with a score of 63-6, Middlebury triumphed over Burlington/South Burlington 31-7, Rutland narrowly edged out St. Johnsbury Academy 34-27, and Hartford secured a 19-14 win against Essex.
In the Division II championship game, Rice Memorial will take on Fair Haven on the same day. Rice Memorial advanced to the finals by defeating Lyndon Institute 27-20, while Fair Haven secured a 34-7 victory over Bellows Falls in the semifinals. In the quarterfinals, Rice Memorial narrowly beat U-32 14-13, Lyndon Institute outscored Cochester 44-34, Bellows Falls dominated North Country Union 49-6, and Fair Haven crushed Mt. Abraham 49-6.
In the Division III championship game, Otter Valley will face Woodstock on November 9. Otter Valley advanced by defeating Bellows Free Academy 41-35, while Woodstock outscored Springfield 48-8 in the semifinals. In the quarterfinals, Bellows Free Academy shut out Missisquoi Valley 48-0, Otter Valley defeated Mill River 46-14, Woodstock dominated Windsor 60-0, and Springfield narrowly beat Poultney 21-20.
