"A Forest of Lights" Returns to VINS for a Magical Winter Experience
Quechee, VT – The Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) is thrilled to announce the return of its enchanting event, “A Forest of Lights," running from November 22 through January 4. This third annual celebration will be held on select evenings, predominantly during weekends and the holiday season, drawing visitors to experience the natural beauty of Vermont illuminated by thousands of twinkling lights.
Chris Collier from VINS expressed the excitement surrounding the event, stating that “Most people…light up when they see holiday lights.” This year’s display will feature captivating designs inspired by the state’s diverse landscapes, wildlife, and flora, aiming to foster a deeper connection to the outdoors in winter.
Collier noted that “A Forest of Lights” has not only become a cherished tradition but also acts as an introduction to VINS for many first-time visitors. “There are often groups of nine to twelve, with some members unfamiliar with VINS, opening them up to what we offer,” he explained. The event serves as a teaser, encouraging attendees to return to explore the center’s other exhibits.
Tickets to this dazzling experience are priced at $13 for adults and $8 for children, while kids under three can enter for free. Due to previous sellouts, VINS has increased its admission capacity this season, and Collier recommends purchasing tickets in advance through the VINS website, which also provides details on specific dates and entry times.
Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit and the beauty of Vermont’s natural world at VINS’ “A Forest of Lights.”
