Press Release: Celebrating Adoptions and Fundraising Successes in Animal Welfare
While there are no new pets available for adoption this week, exciting developments abound in the realm of animal welfare. The Central Vermont Humane Society is thrilled to report the successful adoption of Gilly and Hays, a senior pair of beloved cats featured in the Forever Home series earlier this year. They have finally found their Forever Home, allowing these feline companions to enjoy their golden years together.
In addition to heartwarming adoption news, Homeward Bound’s recent event, Woofstock: Walk for the Animals, was a resounding success. Held in late September in Middlebury, the event attracted a significant turnout and raised an impressive $48,325 for Homeward Bound, Addison County’s Humane Society. Participants enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere, with perfect weather for a fun doggie dip at the community pool as summer drew to a close.
Next week brings a holiday Monday, which typically hosts the taping of Forever Home episodes. However, viewers can look forward to something new and engaging in the upcoming episode, aimed at keeping the community informed about pet-related events and activities.
As we continue to promote the welfare of animals, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the community for its unwavering support. Your involvement makes a tremendous difference in the lives of these deserving animals. Stay tuned for more updates and ways to support local animal shelters.
