The game took place during Vermont’s annual Military Appreciation Day, sponsored by Milton Cat. Seven different skaters from St. Lawrence contributed to the win, with goals coming at crucial moments throughout the game.

Despite a scoreless first period, the Saints came out strong in the second frame, scoring three goals to take a commanding lead. St. Lawrence’s offensive efforts were led by Anna Segedi, Abby Hustler, and Aly McLeod, who capitalized on opportunities to put the puck in the net. The Catamounts struggled to match the intensity and precision of their opponents, leading to a decisive victory for St. Lawrence.
