A new partnership between tech company Metropolis and the San Antonio International Airport is set to revolutionize holiday travel with the help of artificial intelligence. Travelers can now register through a QR code at the airport, allowing for a more seamless experience when it comes to parking, luggage drop-off, and navigating the airport.
The CEO and cofounder of Metropolis, Alex Israel, emphasized that registration is a one-time process that only takes 40 seconds. Once registered, travelers can simply drive in and have the gate automatically vend, receiving a text message with further instructions. Luggage drop-off and boarding pass issuance can also be done through the system, with luggage going through TSA screening later on.
By registering in advance of holiday travel, travelers can reserve parking spots, reducing stress and improving the overall visitor experience. Additionally, those who register before December 20th will be eligible for a discount on reservations.
Overall, the partnership between Metropolis and the San Antonio International Airport aims to transform the airport experience for travelers, making it more convenient and efficient through the use of technology and artificial intelligence.
