Vermont Women’s Lacrosse Announces Captains for 2025 Season
BURLINGTON, Vt. – Head coach Sarah Dalton Graddock of the Vermont women’s lacrosse team has announced the selection of three student-athletes to lead the Catamounts during the upcoming 2025 season. Claire Adelhelm, Kendall Traveis, and Meghan O’Connor have been named as captains for the team.
O’Connor, a graduate midfielder, will be serving as a captain for the second consecutive season. Despite missing last season due to a medical redshirt year, O’Connor has a strong track record with 28 goals and 13 assists in her Catamount career.
Adelhelm, a senior attacker, will be stepping into her first season as a captain for Vermont. She had a notable performance last season with one goal and three assists against Rutgers and has amassed 21 goals and 47 assists over her three years as a Catamount.
Traveis, a senior midfielder, is also entering her first season in a leadership position for Vermont. She showcased her skills with two multi-goal games last season and has maintained a consistent scoring record with 8 goals in each of the last two seasons.
