The family of 30-year-old Hawaii resident, Hannah Kobayashi, is searching for her in Los Angeles after she missed a connecting flight, sent concerning text messages, and then went silent. After arriving in L.A. en route to New York City, Kobayashi stayed in Los Angeles to wait for a last-minute flight and went sightseeing. She visited The Grove shopping center on November 10, and her Instagram account showed a photo of a Nike marketing event there. Her family reported her missing to various authorities after she stopped communicating. Concerns were raised when security footage in downtown L.A. showed Kobayashi with someone else. Family members are focusing their search efforts in that area. Kobayashi’s family reassured the public that she does not suffer from mental illness and is not on medication. Her father expressed his concern over her disappearance, and the family is working together to find her. The family has gathered in L.A. to search for her, with the hope of bringing her back home safely.
