Vermont Women’s Basketball will be hosting Holy Cross in their annual Military Appreciation Game on Saturday, November 16th at Patrick Gym. The game, presented by Milton Cat, kicks off at 1 p.m. ET and will feature the Josh Pallota Fund in the lobby. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office on game day.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Rob Ryan providing commentary. Fans can also listen for free on the Vermont Sports Network from Learfield on WVMT. The Catamounts are coming off a loss to Providence in their last game, with Anna Olson and Catherine Gilwee leading the team in scoring.
Vermont holds an 11-8 series lead over Holy Cross and has won three of the last five matchups between the two teams. Olson is the team’s leading scorer this season, averaging 14.7 points per game. Keira Hanson and Gilwee follow closely behind in scoring.
On the Holy Cross side, Simone Foreman leads the team in scoring, averaging 15 points per game. Kaitlyn Flanagan and Lindsay Berger are also key players to watch for the Crusaders. Foreman and Berger were the top rebounders for Holy Cross last season.
