The 2026 defenseman from Calvert Hall College High School is trading his school’s traditional red for Vermont’s signature green, furthering his athletic journey in the picturesque town known for its artistic charm and competitive spirit.
Hottle’s decision to join the Vermont Catamounts was fueled by his strong connection with the team’s coaching staff, particularly head coach Chris Feifs. “I really liked the coaching staff and connected with the players on my visit,” noted Hottle. Under Feifs’ leadership since 2016, Vermont has emerged as a formidable competitor in the America East Conference, achieving remarkable success, including back-to-back conference titles and five championship game appearances in the last six seasons.
