The Well Scottsboro & Well Restored Properties, LLC is set to kick off a new holiday tradition with Christmas at the Marketplace on December 5th. This family-friendly event will feature a tree lighting ceremony, carolers, dance performances, craft stations, a gingerbread house contest, hot cocoa bar, food vendors, and more. Meanwhile, Dove Creek Farm in Scottsboro is gearing up for their 7th anniversary/Christmas at the Barn event on December 7th. Owner James Guffey promises a Hallmark-worthy scene with decorations, photo ops with Santa and friends, food vendors, and an array of crafts for sale. Snow machines, a carriage ride, and a DJ playing holiday tunes will also be part of the celebration.
Additionally, the Art Society of Jackson County is hosting the third annual Art Crawl on December 7th and 8th. Visitors can explore local artists’ studios, with a chance to win a $100 gift certificate for each studio visited. President Denise White encourages the community to support and appreciate the talent of the local artists showcased during the event.
