The America East Cross Country Championship meet is set to take place at Hard’Ack in Vermont on Saturday, November 2nd. The Women’s 5k will kick off at 11:00 a.m., followed by the Men’s 8k at 12:00 p.m. The event will be streamed live on America East TV. Limited spectator parking will be available on-site at Hard’ack Recreation Area, with additional parking and shuttle services provided.
The Vermont women’s team placed second at the Fall Foliage Invitational, with MegAnne Gilmore and Clare Kelly leading the way. The women’s starters will include Caroline Deiss, Erica Eastman, Isabelle Fleuette, Gilmore, Kelly, Emma Leary, Claire MacDonald, Siena Stanley, Hope Tyska, and Cara Van de Meulebroecke.
In the 2023 Championship, Binghamton took the Women’s 5k title, while UMass Lowell claimed the Men’s 8k title, continuing their streak since 2020. Vermont finished second in the Women’s race and will be looking to improve their performance this year.
