Storm surge is expected to raise water levels in Tampa Bay by up to 8 feet, with other areas seeing levels rise between 3 and 15 feet. Rainfall totals are expected to reach 8 inches across the southeastern United States. Helene’s large size means that its hazards will impact a wide area. Residents in the affected areas are advised to take precautions and stay updated on the storm’s progress.
