Hyatt Hotels Corporation is continuing to expand its luxury and lifestyle hotel pipeline in the Americas. The global hospitality company has announced a number of new properties that are set to open in the region in the coming years.
One of the most highly anticipated developments is the opening of the first Park Hyatt hotel in Mexico, which is scheduled for 2021. The Park Hyatt Los Cabos will feature 162 guest rooms and suites, as well as a number of top-notch amenities including multiple dining options, a spa, and several swimming pools.
In addition to the new Park Hyatt property, Hyatt also plans to open a Thompson hotel in Washington D.C. in 2020. The Thompson D.C. will be located in the city’s Capitol Riverfront district and will offer 225 guest rooms, a rooftop bar, and over 7,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
Hyatt is also expanding its lifestyle hotel portfolio in the Americas with the addition of several new properties under its Hyatt Centric brand. These new hotels include the Hyatt Centric Downtown Sacramento, which is set to open in 2020, and the Hyatt Centric City Center Philadelphia, which is scheduled to open in 2021.
Overall, Hyatt’s expansion in the luxury and lifestyle hotel sector in the Americas is part of the company’s broader strategy to grow its presence in key markets around the world. By adding these new properties to its portfolio, Hyatt is aiming to attract a wider range of travelers and further solidify its reputation as a top player in the global hospitality industry.
