Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco will be out for at least six weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured fibula. This injury occurred during the Chiefs’ win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Head coach Andy Reid expressed concern for Pacheco, who is known for his love of the game. Pacheco has been a key player for the Chiefs in the past two seasons, leading the team in rushing. Rookie Carson Steele will likely step up as the main running back in Pacheco’s absence, with veteran Semaje Perine as backup. Additionally, Clyde Edwards-Helaire is also out until at least Week 5. The team is considering bringing in former player Kareem Hunt for a visit. The Chiefs have started the season with a 2-0 record and will face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3.
